I am at the Nelson Recreation Center here at Fort Lewis. Today was productive, I finished my Combat Life Saver class (CLS). I wish that it had gone into more detail on some things, I also wish that all of the students could spend a couple of days at the blood lab @ Madigan Hospital to develop more skill at venipuncture. Alot of the guys were really nervous at sticking a needle into someone. Reminds me of my first time at Naval Hospital Corps School back in 1990.

I will soon be leaving for Madigan, they got a great DFAC (dining facility). They are also open late for dinner, when all the others are closed for the day.
